The Seattle 2030 District is accepting submissions for our first stormwater competition in partnership with Boeing and Expeditors.
Recycling the Beauty of Puget Sound is a design competition that is open to students, designers, and engineers of all disciplines to apply the power of design thinking to the urgent need for managing stormwater in the heart of Seattle and other urban centers. We are seeking innovative ideas for rainwater capture and reuse in an effort to sustainably invest in water conservation and pollution prevention in Puget Sound.
Submissions will be accepted until July 21. There are prizes for the top designs and the winning team will be offered a chance to present at the Seattle Design Festival in August and be announced at the Seattle 2030 District Vision Awards in October.
