Join the S2030D, International Living Future Institute, and Earth Economics on 11/19 at 8 a.m. (PT), where the focus will be on tools to help calculate stormwater use in your commercial and multi-family residential buildings. These systems can be utilized to improve the water performance of a building, reduce stormwater runoff and lower associated drainage charges, and be a vital strategy to achieve the 2030 Challenge Pilot and Living Building Pilot Challenges.

ILFI's new study on utility rates helps to meet the 2030 District goals as well. ILFI will share recent research on the use of potable water focusing on the opportunities available specifically to residential buildings in Seattle, and demonstrates that many off-the-shelf systems are now available at a cost that is recoverable within a reasonable timeframe, making water-saving retrofits and new construction more financially viable.

Our presenters will be:
• Molly Freed, LFA | Manager of Buildings + Water at ILFI
• Kathleen Smith | Director, Technical Support Services at ILFI
• Jordan Wildish| Consultant at Earth Economics
