2022 Energy Competition
Building off the success of last year’s energy competition, the Seattle 2030 District is looking to our professional building community for viable solutions to an affordable housing building that will serve as a model for a clean energy future through exceptional building performance.
Until the end of August, we are looking for teams consisting of at least one architect, engineer, general contractor, and a student pursuing a related degree. If you don't have a team, we can put you on one. We'd also be happy to match your team with an eager student through a partnership with local colleges.
Teams will meet with the building owner/manager for specifics about the building and will work on solutions from September to October. You can check our team flyer here. For more information, contact firstname.lastname@example.org. Please check this page for updates! [Photo by Pedro Miranda]

We had an excellent turnout for the kick-off of our second Energy Design Competition! Teams toured the 11-story multi-family apartment building, the International Terrace, to gather information and work on formulating their energy-saving solutions in October and November.
Thank you Seattle Housing Authority for taking time to let us do the walk-through. We can't wait to see what our talented members come up with. Stay tuned for updates!
