Fairmont Pittsburgh commits to the Pittsburgh 2030 District

Fairmont Pittsburgh has joined the Pittsburgh 2030 District in a commitment to work towards a 50% reduction in energy and water consumption, and transportation emissions.  The Fairmont Pittsburgh is the first hotel in Pittsburgh to commit to the District and joins the Fairmont Olympic Hotel in Seattle as a 2030 District Participant.

Fairmont Pittsburgh is part of Three PNC Plaza, one of the largest mixed use green buildings in the country, which holds a LEED Gold (New Construction) certification.  Fairmont Pittsburgh was also separately awarded a LEED Gold (Commercial Interiors) certification reinforcing Fairmont’s “philosophy of operational sustainability and responsible tourism.”

We look forward to working with Fairmont Pittsburgh, and all our property partners, to make Downtown Pittsburgh a healthier and high performing community.
