Building Upgrades – Energy Use to the 2015 Energy Code

The Texas legislature, during the last session, passed laws requiring that cities adopt the 2015 version of the International Energy Conservation Code. This is the first issue of this energy code that has a specific chapter on existing buildings. This will impact building operation, additions, alterations, repairs, and change of occupancy. Systems impacted include; fenestration, roofing, mechanical, plumbing and lighting. This seminar will discuss the coming requirements.

About the Speaker: Jerry Kettler is a licensed professional engineer in nine states and certified in many specialties including commissioning, building audits, and environmental management. He has been active with many professional organizations and committees that develop industry wide guidelines & standards.
