Great Lakes Hyperloop System - Public Meeting

Join the Northeast Ohio Areawide Coordinating Agency (NOACA) for a presentation about the Great Lakes Hyperloop System. Hear how the project has progressed and about the soon-to-be-released feasibility study analysis, which includes information on:

  • Top speed travel in less than an hour with connections to Chicago to Cleveland and Pittsburgh!
  • Job and economic impacts to our region
  • Emissions savings and sustainable travel
  • Take a survey about fare costs and future amenities

Hyperloop brings airplane speeds to ground level, safely through a magnetic levitation system. Passengers and cargo capsules will hover through a network of low-pressure tubes between cities and transform travel time from hours to minutes. The Great Lakes Megaregion represents a $15 billion transportation market with tens of million tons of cargo and millions of passengers connecting to the cities within the region every year. Technologies like Hyperloop can take outdated infrastructures through the 21st century and beyond. It will open our region to the rest of the Midwest, connecting us all in a network of technology, resources, people, and jobs.

Come, learn, and share your thoughts!
