We have a great line-up of speakers for this event. We'll review the history of the lake and the river as well as its condition today. We will cover watershed governance, new technology in algal bloom warning systems, the science behind water treatment and the delivery of safe drinking water. We'll also examine the economics of living on a lakeshore city, the change in the chemistry of the lake over time, including an analysis of the dead zone. This will be a fascinating discussion, appropriately just before the 50th anniversary of the burning of the river.
