BUILDING EDUCATION SERIES 2019 - CLIMATE CHANGE: A CANDID DISCUSSION

This session will be a broad discussion on the effects of climate change and what we can all do to drive positive change to mitigate its effects, particularly in the commercial building sector.  We will review the impact of climate change on a global, statewide and local level.  Our speakers will address what is being done currently to protect our environment and what still needs to be done. 

Speakers:

Keynote speaker and session moderator: Dr. David Orr, Paul Sears Distinguished Professor of Environmental Studies and Politics at Oberlin College and a James Marsh Professor at the University of Vermont.  Dr. Orr is a well known environmentalist and published author. 

Matt Gray, City of Cleveland Chief of Sustainability

Mike Foley, Cuyahoga County Director of Sustainability

Heather Taylor-Miesle, Ohio Environmental Council
