Energy Benchmarking: Save Time, Energy and Money

Please join Burlington Electric Department (BED) and the Burlington 2030 District for a special energy benchmarking training on Friday, January 10 from 8:00 to 11:00am at BED's Spark Space.

Are you a property owner, builder, energy efficiency professional, or member of the Burlington 2030 District? Learn how to benchmark your building's energy usage quickly and painlessly so you can save time, energy and money using Energy Star Portfolio Manager (ESPM). Training goals include understanding the benefits of benchmarking, knowing what energy use intensity (EUI) means, and being able to create building profiles and building energy performance reports via ESPM. Also, learn how to set up your ESPM account to receive automatic uploads from BED.

Please plan to bring a laptop so that you can participate in the hands on Energy Star Portfolio Manager tutorial. Also, please create an Energy Star Portfolio Manager account prior to attending. You can create a free account via the following link:

Breakfast and refreshments will be provided!
