What is the Toronto 2030 District? 

The Toronto 2030 District is a private-public initiative committed to achieving a low-carbon future. We are a broad stakeholder network comprised of property owners and managers, tenants, utilities, government, service providers and civil society within Toronto’s downtown core. What are your goals? 

The goal of the District is to reduce building-related energy use, water consumption, and transportation emissions in downtown Toronto by 50% by 2030.  

Why is this important? 

Improving building performance reduces utility costs, creates jobs, increases property values and can create more comfortable spaces for occupants. 

Who participates in the Toronto 2030 District?
