Annual Reports

The Stamford 2030 District has officially released their 2016 progress report. Collectively, buildings in Downtown Stamford are actively working to achieve 50% reductions in energy use, water use, and transportation emissions by the year 2030. These dramatic reductions are being accomplished with a lens of resiliency, by improving social and economic outcomes in relation to the environment.

Major accomplishments for 2016 included increasing membership by adding two of the largest building owners, Empire Real Estate Trust and Stamford Hospital, establishing the water baseline for the District, and earning two state-wide awards, the Green Circle Sustainability Award from the Connecticut Department of Energy and Environmental Protection and the Alexion Award of Excellence from the Connecticut Green Building Council.
