SPEER, in collaboration with the State Energy Conservation Office (SECO) and Houston Advanced Research Center (HARC), invites you to become part of the City Efficiency Leadership Council and attend our 2 hour free workshop on city energy and water efficiency - specifically for small and mid-sized cities in the Dallas/Fort Worth and surrounding area.
Anyone working on efficiency in the public sector is invited to attend! Lunch will be provided.
The workshop will kick off with a presentation, and the rest of the meeting is held in a roundtable discussion format. Discussion topics are selected by the group, and they may include LED street lighting, project financing options, innovative outreach ideas, low/no cost energy audits, water conservation, and more.
Whether you are just getting started with efficiency or have recently completed a project, join us to participate in the discussion, network with nearby cities, and share your challenges and successes. Participants will emerge with professional connections as well as new ideas that they can bring back to their communities.
*Please note this event is open ONLY to cities, public agencies, counties, and public schools
